A Ray of white light centers this radiant tapestry by efrain curi. Gradually shading toward warm Golds and ochres, it is meticulously created on the Andean handloom. Curi uses the kilim, or "slit" technique. The different yarns are not dovetailed or interlocked, but each colour field is woven independently of the other and their vertical edges are open. This technique is widely seen on medieval and Renaissance tapestries. Titled "rompecabezas" in Spanish.
